VGM Traducciones passed the ISO 9001:2008 audit and is the first company in Peru of its kind to obtain ISO 17100:2015 certification.

The translation market has been experiencing dramatic changes paralleling those occurring in industry and in the service sector. High-speed, high-quality translations at a reasonable cost are under increasing demand.

Information-sensitive documents like patents require the highest degree of specialization because patents protect owners’ rights against third-party infringement.

Major project contracts have to be translated with absolute precision, without compromising understanding between the parties to the contract, and the work done in industrial plants or in infrastructure projects does not allow costly bumps in the path due to poor translation quality or failure to comply with delivery dates.

All documentation in connection with regulatory affairs for pharmaceutical products requires top-quality work because patients’ health and lives are at stake.

At VGM Traducciones, we are familiar with the ever greater challenges our clients face so we have made it our goal to not be just a translation service provider. We want stand out as a confidence provider.

This is why we are pleased to inform you that in April 2017, VGM Traducciones passed the annual Bureau Veritas Perú audit to maintain the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification grant. This year, Bureau Veritas highlighted the human factor of our teams as a strength.

We are also pleased to let our clients know that VGM Traducciones just became the first company in the region to obtain international ISO 17100:2015 certification for specialized translation services.

This means that we can offer dual ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17100:2015 quality certification specific for translation services.

Why bother getting dual quality certification?

To offer peace of mind and to secure our clients’ trust, because VGM Traducciones has proven in each audit that:

  1. A.   It has qualified staff with technical degrees audited by Bureau Veritas and SMC. A company with international ISO 17100:2015 certification must provide evidence of the its translators’ technical degrees as well as their experience.

  1. B.   All workflows within the translation process are well defined and controlled to the benefit of the client.

  1. C.   All translation assignment and review processes meet the specialization requirement, which is a guarantee the client receives from any company with ISO 17100:2015 certification. So any specialization surcharges make no sense within this standard because specialization at all stages should already be included in the service.

Finally, our dual certification reinforces the image of your company by bringing to the table a quality standard regulated by an international standard. ISO 17100 is the international standard for translation service quality, but simply being a member of a professional association does not imply this quality. If you want to offer services internationally, any potential client will require compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100 quality standards, which VGM Traducciones has already been granted in Peru for your technical, pharmaceutical and legal needs.

It would be a pleasure to include your company among our distinguished clients, and while at the same time we encourage you to trust VGM Traducciones, we would also like you to know that we strive constantly to improve our services and that we can be counted on for whatever it is you may require.
